Black Waxed Flesh Cowhide:

Crafted from Black Waxed Flesh Cowhide supplied by Macro Leather in China. The reverse side of the leather is treated with wax, creating a dense, textured surface with a distinctive low-sheen black finish.

Unlike conventional suede, Waxed Flesh features a wax-rich surface that gradually reveals its natural fibrous texture through wear. As the boots develop creases and scuffs, the waxed finish begins to show variations in texture and sheen, creating a distinctive patina over time.

Classic Plain Toe Design:

The plain-toe construction eliminates the additional leather toe cap, creating a clean, uninterrupted forefoot profile.

This minimalist design emphasizes the natural texture and aging characteristics of the Waxed Flesh leather while maintaining the timeless character of traditional military-inspired service boots.

Almond No.2 Last:

Built on the Almond No.2 Last, featuring a refined almond-shaped toe and an elongated, streamlined profile. Its balanced proportions combine the elegance of traditional service boots with the rugged character of heritage footwear.

Unlined Shaft & Calfskin Vamp Lining:

The unlined shaft preserves the natural flexibility and character of the Waxed Flesh leather, while full-grain calfskin lining in the vamp provides a smooth and comfortable interior.

Traditional Free-Floating Tongue:

The non-gusseted tongue features a traditional independent construction, allowing natural movement around the instep while making the boots easier to put on and take off.

270° Goodyear Welt Construction:

The boot features 270° Goodyear welted construction with a flat welt, creating a clean and traditional sole profile while allowing for future resoling.

Leather Midsole & Layered Sole Construction:

A 4 mm vegetable-tanned leather insole and leather midsole form the foundation of the traditional layered sole construction.

Premium Thai natural latex filling provides additional underfoot cushioning, while the XS #1802 full-length rubber outsole offers practical durability and traction for everyday wear.

Two-Layer Stacked Leather Heel:

The heel features a two-layer stacked leather heel base combined with an XS #2402 rubber heel.

The stacked leather layers create a distinctive traditional heel profile, adding visual depth and emphasizing the craftsmanship of classic service boot construction.

Traditional Lace-Up Hardware:

Its internal volume and fit characteristics differ from our other lasts, so customers should not assume that the same labeled size will fit identically across different LUOSJIET models.

Sizing Recommendation:

Customers who prefer a snugger fit may consider sizing down by 0.5 EU, provided their foot length, forefoot width, and instep volume allow sufficient room.

Sizing down is not recommended solely to compensate for excess width or instep volume without considering overall foot dimensions.
