Our Plain Toe Woolen Boot in M width is built on the Squre No.2 D-width last, using a last one full EU size larger than the finished boot’s labeled size.
This adjustment is necessary because of the boot’s wool construction:
Wool Rebound: After the boot is removed from the last, the wool naturally rebounds, reducing the available internal volume.
Additional Wool Footbed: An internal wool footbed further occupies space inside the boot.
To compensate for these factors, we use a larger last during production while maintaining the finished boot’s intended M-width fit.

Plain Toe Woolen Boot EU 41M = Squre No.2 EU 42D Last + Wool Rebound + Internal Wool Footbed.
Important: The labeled size refers to the finished boot, not the size of the last used during manufacturing. Please select your size based on the Plain Toe Woolen Boot’s sizing information rather than directly using the Round No.2 last size.
