German Oiled Nubuck Reverse Leather

Crafted from German Oiled Nubuck Reverse leather, the M1944 Boondocker features a distinctive textured surface and a rugged, military-inspired appearance.

Natural variations in grain, texture, and color give each pair its own individual character. With regular wear, the leather gradually develops natural creasing, surface variations, and a unique patina.

Unstructured Toe

The unstructured toe eliminates the rigid toe reinforcement found in structured-toe boots, creating a softer and more natural silhouette.

As the leather breaks in, the toe gradually develops its own shape and character, contributing to the boot’s vintage appearance.

Half Gusseted Tongue

The half-gusseted tongue is partially attached to the upper along both sides, helping reduce the entry of dust, dirt, and debris.

This construction maintains flexibility and ease of entry while providing practical protection for everyday wear.

270° Goodyear Flat Welt Construction

The M1944 Boondocker features traditional 270° Goodyear flat welt construction.

This construction creates a classic welted profile and allows the outsole to be replaced by a qualified boot repair specialist when the boot’s condition permits.

Dr. Sole #1122 Raw Cord Full Sole

The Dr. Sole #1122 Raw Cord Full Sole features a distinctive corded rubber composition inspired by traditional military footwear.

Its textured appearance complements the M1944’s rugged design and vintage character.

Dr. Sole #1132W Trooper’s Corded Heel

The Dr. Sole #1132W Trooper’s Corded Heel completes the outsole configuration.

Its corded rubber design provides a consistent visual character with the #1122 Raw Cord Full Sole.

4mm Leather Insole

The M1944 Boondocker features a 4mm non-removable leather insole as part of its Goodyear welt construction.

This structural component supports the boot’s traditional construction and is not designed to be removed.

BOONDOCKER NO.1 LAST

The M1944 Boondocker Boot is built on the LUOSJIET Boondocker No.1 Last, which uses the European (EU) sizing system.

The last features a traditional military-inspired profile, complementing the boot’s unstructured toe and classic service boot design.

Its shape and internal proportions may differ from other LUOSJIET lasts, even when the labeled EU size is the same.

• Your measured foot length.
• Your ball girth and instep girth.
• Your Brannock size and width, if available.
• Your actual fit in other boot brands and lasts.
• Your usual sock thickness.
• Your preferred fit, whether snug or relaxed.

Different boot lasts may fit differently even when they share the same labeled size.

For customers who prefer a closer fit, reducing the converted size by 0.5 EU may be considered only when foot length, width, and instep volume allow.

This is not a universal sizing recommendation.
